By 2050 Switzerland is supposed to produce as many greenhouse gas emissions as can be safely kept in natural and technical storage facilities. How can we achieve this goal – and what will our energy situation look like in 2050? PSI researchers have dared to look into the future and calculated various scenarios using a highly complex computer model. In this video, we present three possible scenarios, focusing on electricity consumption in particular.
