The causes of China’s record level fine particulate pollution in winter 2013. Dr. André Prévôt from the Paul Scherrer Institute PSI explains, how the fine particle samples from the Winter 2013 were collected in China and later measured at PSI in Switzerland. By analyzing the samples, the researchers were able to identify the sources of the record level particulate pollution.
